You gave it your best shot...

You've taken courses that taught craft but ignored the business side of authorship.

You've dreamed of becoming a nonfiction author but can't get yourself to write the book.

You've paid book coaches with little experience as authors or no bestseller status.

You've followed "expert" advice only to become overwhelmed and confused.

You invested in an expensive
self-publishing program, but your book doesn't sell.

You can't make yourself take the action necessary to become a successful author.

You're frustrated because can't make yourself finish your manuscript, or, if you have finished, publish it.

Your disappointed because you let mental chatter or "life" stop you from making consistent progress.

Despite Your Best Efforts...

  • You aren't sure how to organize or write a nonfiction book.
  • You don't know where or how to publish your book.
  • You are overwhelmed by the enormity of the task.
  • You are unsure about how to land a deal with a literary agent or traditional publisher.
  • You can't tell who to trust or who is really a nonfiction writing and publishing pro.
  • You have more questions than answers, which keeps you stuck.
  • You feel alone and challenged to move forward without a support system or community of other writers.

What if you never write and publish your nonfiction book? Imagine the regret you'll feel at the end of your life if you never realize your dream...or potential. Allow that disappointment to wash over you.

But how will you feel when you hold your published book in your hand? Imagine what authorship will be like...and how it will transform you and your life. See yourself impacting individual lives, your industry or community, or the world...and feel the emotions that go with fulfilling your purpose and achieving your potential. Sense what becomes possible once you are a nonfiction author.

It's time to finally become a nonfiction author, is it not?

You already realize you have to try something different to accomplish that goal.

You must find something that helps you develop certainty, move out of overwhelm and confusion, take confident and consistent steps toward writing and publishing your nonfiction book, get coaching and support, be in community with writers, and get all your questions answered by a trusted nonfiction writing and publishing expert.

With access to these things, you know you can become a nonfiction author...and hold your book in your hands, have readers tell you how your book impacted them, establish yourself as an expert or influencer, create change in the world, fulfill your purpose and potential, and...finally...realize your dream of authorship.

The seasoned, trusted publishing professional you've been seeking—one the industry trusts and that can provide you with the support and answers you want and need.

I'm Nina Amir, the Inspiration to Creation Coach, an Amazon bestselling hybrid author. I support writers on the journey to successful authorship as an Author Coach, nonfiction developmental editor, Transformational Coach, and Certified High Performance Coach (CHPC®)—the only one working with writers.

My most recent book, Change the World One Book at a Time: Make a Positive and Meaningful Difference with Your Words, was published in January 2026 by Books that Save Lives. Previously, I wrote three traditionally published books for aspiring authors—How to Blog a Book, The Author Training Manual, and Creative Visualization for Writers. Additionally, I have self-published a host of books and ebooks, including the Write Nonfiction NOW! series of guides. I've had 19 books on the Amazon Top 100 List and as many as six books on the Authorship bestseller list at the same time.

I'm an award-winning journalist and blogger, as well as a successful nonfiction developmental editor. Some of my editing clients have sold 300,000+ copies of their books, landed deals with major publishing houses and created thriving businesses around their books. And my Author Coaching clients have gone on to successfully self-publish or find literary agents and traditionally publish.

To further support writers, I created the Nonfiction Writers’ University, where members access a huge archive of resources, such as self-study courses, checklists, challenges, and interviews with writing and publishing experts, and receive monthly group Author Coaching. (I add in a bit of Certified High Performance Coaching or Transformational coaching when members feel stuck or get in their own way.) Additionally, I created the Write Nonfiction in November Challenge and Author of Change Transformational Programs.

In the area of spiritual and personal growth, I also founded the Inspired Creator Community, which provides a proprietary curriculum accompanied by group transformational coaching on the topic of creating what matters. Many writers join this program to support their efforts to become authors.

An international speaker, I coordinates the SFWC’s Personal Growth for Writers track and the Writing for Change Summit. Plus, I offer a conference scholarship for nonfiction writers writing for change.

I spent many years and a great deal of money taking university classes during my career as a teacher. These helped me succeed in my profession; however, I never had the opportunity or time to be part of a program like Nina’s. Attending the Nonfiction Writers' University Author Coaching sessions, which I received as a bonus when I joined the Inspired Creator Community, has helped me more as a writer and creator than any of the university classes I took as an undergraduate or a graduate student. I continue to improve and grow as a creator, especially regarding my writing goals and ambitions. As a result of being in Nina’s Nonfiction Writers' University, I have been encouraged and motivated to finish my first book (which I will release in early 2026) and to begin work on my second one. Being part of both of Nina’s programs has been money well spent and well invested.

You can get these results, too...

I can't tell you how much you've done or thank you enough for moving me forward with my book-writing process. I have learned so much that I know is not available to most writers and benefited both in my inner approach to my writing and the number of skills I've accumulated during my time in the NFWU and working with you. I'm much more confident that my book proposal will sell to a publisher now as well. And it's all because of my work with you.

barbara-parishI am a nonfiction writer with questions about writing and publishing. In my search for answers I follow Nina Amir, author, coach, speaker, and blogger. I joined Nina's online Nonfiction Writers University, which connected me to a wealth of reference material, Nina's webinars, and coaching calls. For me, Nina is like my personal safety net, I can travel my writing path knowing that Nina will keep me focused and informed.  Nina has a sincere dedication to assisting writers by poking the thought process of each student, waking their desire and courage to step forward into Author Status.

carroll-bishopI was a beginning writer, a newbie, looking for direction in the ways of the world for writers. I was introduced to Nina Amir, founder and teacher/coach of Nonfiction Writer’s University. I joined and have grown tremendously from the valuable and expert assistance I received from Nina.

Because of my membership in the NFWU, I am encouraged and gaining abilities that will help me be a successful author.

eric_thomasAs writers, we don't always understand that it takes more than just writing to achieve success. You need more, a lot more. Nina Amir and her Nonfiction Writers' University are the
more you need. The monthly group coaching call with her is invaluable and my favorite.

My NFWU membership has increased my productivity, improved my focus, and put me on the path to success. If you're serious about becoming an author, make the investment in yourself, and take advantage of this incredible resource.

-- Eric Thomas

Nina is the Writer Whisperer as she intuitively knows how to unveil a writer’s fears and formulate ways to address them.  For example, I rewrote my book proposal a few times, completely changing it, even though the original proposal was good.  She firmly questioned me about this and brought to light why I was constantly editing my proposal; I was terrified to send my words out into the world.  The knowledge for me allowed me to finally finish my proposal.

Nina is an amazing coach for authors.  She is direct, kind, encouraging, patient and smart.  I think what I appreciated the most is that she always told me the truth about my writing, kindly and clearly, and then gave me clear instructions on what to do.

There are many unpublished authors in the world that could use Nina’s help to get their potentially best-selling book out of their computer and onto the shelves of bookstores.

--Alex Mayers

As a first time author, I wasn’t sure where to start. Then I met Nina. She taught me how to blog my book and helped me create a book proposal that attracted an agent and a publisher. Along the way, her coaching provided valuable advice and motivation that pushed me to finish my book. I could not have been happier with the outcome and I’m looking forward to her help with the next book.

--Jim Ciardella, author of "The Dealer"

Nina Amir is an experienced writer, editor and has been published extensively.

She has an organized way of laying out steps and stages towards publishing, and holding a checklist of personal accountability as a writer.

She is organized, accomplished, and enjoys guiding others on the writing and publishing path.

-- Deborah Nielsen, LMFT, author of "Breaking Whole"
As a Nonfiction Writers' University member, I've gained far greater psychological benefit in my whole approach to my book and writing of it.  I also feel more confident, certain of my target audience and have greater comprehension of what is involved in becoming an author...I would recommend your training to anyone who was serious about writing.

-- Hilary J. Kitching
I can't thank you enough for moving me forward with my book-writing process. I have learned so much that I know is not available to most writers and benefited both in my inner approach to my writing and the number of skills I've accumulated during my time with you.

My writing progresses and I'm nearly ready to send out my proposal again. This time, it is more powerful and engaging book, I hope. Am doing final edits of both the proposal and my first three or four chapters. It's changed  a lot and is now a narrative investigative piece with more personal stories. I'm much more confident it will sell. All because of my work with you.

--Peggy Day

I needed accountability and guidance with my second book proposal. My publishers recommended Nina's services.  Whether you are a beginner, or a well seasoned writer, Nina will help you with accountability, structure and creating a book you never new was in you!

--Robyn Cruze

Nina Amir's NFWU has given me exactly what I needed to re-kindle my writing output and bring my message to the world while making a difference.

Writing nonfiction is a specialists craft and with Nina's support and monthly writing challenges I have fine tuned my writing and marketing skills resulting in writing gigs and increased book sales.

The Nonfiction Writer's University is the vehicle for achieving more inspired results and that's what Nina presents with each learning module. So if writing non-fiction and increasing book sales are part of your dream then I suggest you consider joining the NFWU.

--PaTrisha-Anne Todd, Award-Winning Author

Nina Amir and her Nonfiction Writers University have been a steady, trustworthy presence on my writing path for nearly a decade. I first arrived through How to Blog a Book, and what I discovered was far more than a method...it was a mentor with remarkable depth, clarity, and generosity of spirit.

Nina’s monthly coaching calls are my favorite offering: open-hearted, practical, and rich with wisdom. Her ability to meet writers exactly where they areand guide them forward with insight and encouragement, is a rare gift.

The resources within NFWU are abundant, and the community of writers fosters genuine connection. With Nina’s background as a High Performance Coach, the experience supports not only the work, but the whole writer. NFWU is a place of learning, belonging, and sustained growth.

-- Anna Corbett, MS, LPC, BCC, Integrative Wellness Coach, Author, Founder, Joy In Living

I participated in Nonfiction Writers University (NFWU) for two full years. I learned a lot from Nina Amir. In fact, I call her my book coach.

She taught me everything I know about book writing and self-publishing. Through her mentorship, I completed my first book, "Business Strategy from Igbo Fathers." Afterward, I also wrote three other books, titled "Prayer Habits from the Bible," "It is Written," and "Business Strategy from the Parables of Jesus."

Thanks, Nina, for the guidance. I appreciate all your support.

A Personal Invitation from Nina Amir

I want to personally invite you to join the Nonfiction Writers' University. I created it for people exactly like you, and it would be my honor to serve as your Author Coach.

I’m a nonfiction writer and author. I know exactly what it takes to be able to say that.

I'm not just another writing or publishing coach—especially not one who will try to sell you an overpriced publishing package and become your vanity publisher. I'm known as the "Inspiration to Creation Coach," and I specifically help writers become authors.

I provide the education and coaching to help you write and publish your book, whether you books are meant to leave a family legacy, impact millions, build a business, or make money. And I do this no matter how you want to publish your book.

I don't teach writing; I teach authorship. I educate you on how to think like an acquisitions editor or literary agent before you write a single word. Application of my businesslike approach to publishing—which is a business—is the difference between you creating a book that sells 10 copies and one that sell  thousands. It's the difference between a writer that never finds a literary agent and one that lands a traditional publishing contract.

Using my skills as a Certified High Performance Coaching and Transformational Coach, I also support you in developing the mindset and habits necessary to write and publish books. It's my goal for you "beccome" an author before you ever publish your book.

I have a track record that proves I do, indeed, help writers become authors. I mentioned previously,  Some of my editing clients have sold 300,000+ copies of their books and landed deals with major publishing houses. My Author Coaching clients have gone on to successfully self-publish or find literary agents and traditionally publish.

Personally, I’ve had articles published in more than 50 publications and edited regional magazines as well as a small library’s-worth of nonfiction books (some of which have gone on to sell copies in the hundreds of thousands). I’m also the author of 21 self-published books and four traditionally published books--most of which have made it onto the Amazon Top 100 list (for weeks and months, no one day). I've had six agents and three traditional publishers. I also self-publish books.

As a writer and reader, my passion is in nonfiction. I believe everyone in the world, including you, has something to teach and share in the written form. I believe, as a writer, you can make a positive and meaningful difference in readers’ lives and the world…with your words.

The world needs more nonfiction authors. Readers are waiting for you to publish your book so they can read it and be impacted by it.

The Nonfiction Writer’s University is about you—the tools, resources, tactics, strategies, mindset, and habits—you need to share your message with the world.

And, it’s about me. I’m a nonfiction writer, too. I pull back the curtain on what it takes to become an author.

I trust you will accept my invitation. Ilook forward to seeing you in the Nonfiction Writers’ University.

What you’ll gain as a NFWU member

Still have questions about becoming a Nonfiction Writers' University member?

Here are some answers to common questions and concerns...

If I join at the basic level for $15, will I ever pay more?

No. You are grandfathered in at that investment level...unless you decide to change your membership to the Premium level.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Both Basic and Premium Nonfiction Writers' University membership renewals occur automatically each month but can be cancelled at any time. You can cancel from your membership profile on the "Your Account" page.

How much time does the program require?

The live Author Coaching sessions are 90 minutes long. Basic members have one session per month, and Premium members have two. However, all live sessions are recorded and can be watched on replay. The amount of time you spend on the Author Training 101-104 course or engaging in the community is up to you.

Do you guarantee that Nonfiction Writers' University membership will result in authorship?

No. Becoming an author is dependent upon your mindset, habits, commitment, and self-integrity. The program can teach you these things, but, ultimately, you have to take the actions and do the work required to become an author.

How do I know I'll get a return on this investment...that I'll end up with a published book?

You don't...unless you possess certainty that you will do all it takes to become an author. But the Nonfiction Writers' University provides you with the education and support you need to have the best shot at achieving your authorship goals.

Can I upgrade to Premium (or downgrade to Basic) membership at anytime?

Yes. You can easily change your membership level in from your membership profile any time you wish. However, if you downgrade, you may lose access to some resources.

Other programs haven't helped me write or publish a book. What makes the Nonfiction Writers' University different?

The Nonfiction Writers' University's difference lies in the fact that members receive coaching from Nina Amir, who is a successful, working, seasoned, self-published and traditionally published nonfiction author. She brings decades of real experience to the table. Additionally, she complements her writing and publishing experience and knowledge with her personal growth coaching skills. Plus, the program offers live Author Coaching, self-study courses, and interviews with other experts, and covers every single aspect of becoming an author.
