Monday Motivation: How to Move Through Life

InspirationIf you want to succeed in life—personally or professionally—you have to know how to move yourself forward. You can’t just do what you’ve always done. You have to do something different, something more.

Think of it this way, if you just walk in place, you don’t move forward. Equate walking in place to managing your day in the same way as usual, approaching your relationships as you have in the past, keeping your priorities the same as you have previously, or not taking action toward your dreams or goals. What happens? Nothing. You basically stay in the same place you are right now.

What happens if you stop doing what you’ve been doing? What happens if you stop walking? You fall behind (or get left behind), your relationships suffer, and you move farther and farther away from what you desire—whatever that may be.

To get ahead—to succeed at any aspect of your life—you have to take action. You have to run, not walk. You have to exert more energy than before to move yourself forward past your current state of being.

Today, consider where in your life you are walking, standing still or running. Leave me a comment below.

    1. Dana,

Get clear on the concept. Write a pitch. When you have more clarity, the title will show up. And your blog and book don’t need to have the same title, so you can change the book title later if need be.
