If you are like me, you have dreams of success. Maybe you dream of succeeding at work or in your career. Maybe you dream of a successful relationship or marriage. Or maybe you dream of a successful life, in general, including your health and finances. It’s possible for you to succeed in all the area of life you can imagine.
A definition helps you clarify what you mean by success. Writing a definition forces you to get specific about what you mean when you say, “I want to succeed” or “I want to be successful.” It’s difficult to achieve a goal if you don’t know what achieving that goal entails or what it will look like when you achieve it.
To define success, make a list of the characteristics or elements success includes in any one or more areas of your life. Don’t use someone else’s definition. And don’t hold back because you think you shouldn’t have such big desires. Remember, you are drafting a private definition of success. Plus, if you don’t dream big, you achieve small levels of success.
To know what success will look like when you achieve it, craft a vision of success. Write a description of yourself successful already. What would that look like and feel like? How would it change your life? Imagine all the wonderful effects of success, and write them down.
Your definition, description or vision of success provides the map you need to get from where you are to where you want to be. When you define success, you set your intention to achieve success. And that intention begins your forward movement toward what you desire—success.

Great blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform
like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so
many choices out there that I’m completely confused ..
Any tips? Thanks!
