Do you act courageously? Have you faced your fear of heights or speaking recently? Have you stepped out in a big way in your career, or taken a risky position on an issue or in a situation? Courage helps you live your life fully and achieve your goals.
When you don’t tell someone you love how you really feel, you let fear get in the way of communicating clearly and honestly and having a loving relationship. When you don’t ask for a promotion, your fear of rejection holds you back from career advancement. When you don’t fly to Aruba, you allow your fear or flying to stop you from experiencing an awesome vacation!
In fact, most of your fears exist only in your head. If you aren’t facing bodily injury or death, you are probably focused on false evidence that appears real. In other words, your thoughts are causing you to believe you have a reason to feel fearful.
Why not experience the benefits feeling and acting courageous? Today, push through your fear. Do something courageous! Make courageous acts a daily habit, and you will develop courage.
How have you recently shown your courageous nature?
