Are you a dreamer?
I’m a dreamer at heart.
That’s fabulous except if you only dream.
Is that what you do? You just dream?
If so, that’s a problem.
It is essential to have dreams, goals, and aspirations. These keep you moving forward towards your best self and your fully lived life.
Visualizing your dreams is important if you want to make your dreams real. See your dreams realized. Tap into what it would feel like to live your dream. Daydream about every aspect of it.
Dreaming is Not Enough
But don’t just dream! Take action.
If you never take action to move closer to your dream or to help it manifest in physical reality, it remains a dream. Whatever your dreams, goals or aspirations, they remain in your head if you never do anything to make them real.
Those who study the Law of Attraction are taught to visualize and feel what it will be like to have what they want. They are supposed to attract it. That means it just shows up.
There’s a step missing in the practice of the Law of Attraction as typically taught—the action step.
I often talk or write about combining your passion and purpose so you get inspired to take action—inspired action. Get inspired by your dreams. Allow that inspiration to drive you forward.
How to Make Your Dreams Real
What are you going to do today to stop being a dreamer at heart and become a dreamer in life? Here are a few suggestions.
Write your vision. Describe your dream in writing. What is it you really want to create or manifest in this life?
Chunk your dream down into action steps. What do you know you have to do to move toward your goal? What do you feel inspired to do next? Write down these action items.
Turn your action items into goals. To know you have taken action, set your intention and make the end result quantifiable. What do you need to see or do to mark an item as done? Add each item to your schedule
Take action. Simple, right? Do what you said you were going to do. And meet your deadlines.
Continue to visualize and feel your way into your dream. Use your imagination and emotions to see your dream as real. Doing so will continue to fuel your inspiration and keep you moving forward.
