The Charged Writer
The Charged Writer Group Coaching sessions is the next step toward High Performance after you have completed the High-Performance Writer Group Coaching Program. The Charged Writer sessions are based on Brendon Burchard’s book, The Charge.
Course Content
In these 12 sessions, you’ll examine what makes you feel the most alive and fulfilled. These sessions will help you master your internal world so that you can better direct your thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
You’ll learn the 10 human drives framework. In high performance work, we often discuss what drives your desire and behavior. So in these sessions, we’ll discuss these areas and see what habits are supporting or hurting your progress and performance. You’ll explore each drive in depth.
The 10 human drives include:
- Control
- Competence
- Congruence
- Caring
- Connection
- Change
- Challenge
- Creative Expression
- Contribution
- Consciousness
Also you will learn about the caged, comfortable and charged lives, and you will assess which type of life you live—and weekly move closer to the charged life (or a more charged life), which also charges up your writing.
In HP we talk about three kinds of life, and depending where you are in that spectrum, you’re going to have a different quality of life. If you’re on one side of the spectrum you’ll often be miserable and suffering, struggling and upset all the time. Whereas, if you’re on the opposite side, you’re fully engaged, energized and enthusiastic, and knowing where we are on this spectrum can completely change your life, because you can make a decision about what type of life you want to live.
