Just as you can see a glass as half empty or half full, you can judge what life offers you as good or bad. If you think life only gives you things and situations you don’t want or like, you feel unhappy and dissatisfied. On the other hand, if you believe that you might receive something or experience something better at any moment, your hopeful attitude helps you feel happy and at peace. Indeed, tomorrow will be better.
At this moment, your life may not contain the elements or situations you desire or that you think you need to be happy. However, the more you focus on how stuck you are, how little you have, how difficult life is, or how horrible your current situation is, the more stuck, difficult horrible, and filled with lack our life becomes. It becomes nearly impossible to create something different and better. Not only that, you won’t see the “better” that already exists all around you.
Can you summon the faith that something better will show up tomorrow—that tomorrow will be a better day? If so, you will begin to anticipate that improvement, which will make you happier. You then will see the enormous amount of things in your life that are good, right, and positive.
Whenever you feel down, remind yourself:
And begin looking forward to that. As you switch your energy to faith, opportunity, and improvement, you will create the things you want and need—things for which to feel grateful.
Try practicing the faith that tomorrow will be an improvement on your current situation and experience. Then leave me a comment below to let me know how your life changes.
